The lovely Chef Meredith will be returning to our store to demonstrate traditional Thai cooking and give some tips on getting it right. Come in and have chat while she cooks up a storm!

Join Lindt Master Chocolatier Thomas Schnetzler for an in-depth look at one of the world's most popular flavours. From chocolate's origins and cultivation through to methods of preparation and storage, this is a very comprehensive workshop run by one of Australia's leading authorities on the subject.
During the hands-on portion of the workshop you will be tempering chocolate, filling moulds and doing some simple decorating.
The workshop will cost $79 per person and all attendees are encouraged to bring aprons or suitable clothing. Bookings are essential.

We've invited Kate from Lakelands Olives, an olive oil judge for the Royal Agriculture Society, to hold an olive oil appreciation class. Sample some fine olive oils and learn the differences in production, cultivation and serving that set them apart. Guaranteed to be a very interesting class for those who love food and cooking. Chef's Armoury knife experts have been trained by Master Sharpeners in the samurai swordmaking capital of Japan and use special water cooled rotary stones to gently remove a minimum amount of metal from your knives, guaranteeing a longer life. All knives are professionally handfinished on Japanese waterstones and the sharpener will be working in the store in case you'd like to watch or get advice on keeping your knives in optimum shape.
Knife sharpening is being held in the store on the first Saturday of every month. If you're unable to come in on the day, feel free to drop your knives off on Friday and you can pick them up any time during the week.
