Although our passion is food, the "essential ingredient" at some parties can only be found at the bar. We stock a full range of flavoured syrups in case you're thinking of throwing a cocktail party and we've got a huge range of glassware and decanters for our fellow connoisseurs of wine and spirits. Kick Ice Cocktails

With summer steadily approaching these all natural pre-made cocktails are going to save a lot of time and fuss in the kitchen. Made locally in Australia, you'd be hard pressed to find a better pre-made cocktail anywhere (we've tried!). Currently available in three delicious flavours: strawberry daiquiri, lime margarita or pineapple pina colada.

Each bag makes 10 drinks and preparation couldn't be simpler: add water and alcohol to one of these 1.7L bags, shake it up and throw it in the freezer. That's it! Make it in advance and one of these would be perfect for a picnic. Just add some nibbles and make sure your friends are ready to chill out.

Decanters

Wines of a certain age often contain sediment; though quite normal, it causes unattractive cloudiness in the wine and a disagreeable sensation in the mouth. The sediment should be separated from the wine by decanting. The Essential Ingredient Sydney offers a choice of interesting shapes at remarkable prices, the clean lines enhancing the colour of the wine, while the generous proportions allow the wine to breathe.

VacuVin

If you've ever had a hard time recorking a bottle of wine, this little vacuum pump might be just the thing you need. Place one of the included wine stoppers in the neck of the bottle, poisition the VacuVin over the top and pump until the vacuum indicator clicks. Your wine is now vacuum sealed to stay fresh for much longer! Not suitable for sparkling wines.

Glassware & Wine Decanter Brush

The soft yet high tensile foam brush reaches deep to the bottom of narrow flutes and stemware. Simply fill the decanter with water, bring the brush through the narrow neck to the bottom of the decanter, and push on the handle. The brush will bend to 90 degrees to reach the outer perimeter of the decanter. Rotate the brush by its T-handle and it will clean the otherwise unreachable areas of the decanter. Pull out the brush and it will straighten itself as you pull it out!

Dazzle Cloth

The ultimate glass cloth! Specially woven from selected 100% cotton fibres, this cloth has been designed for sparkling crystal and stemware. It dries and polishes to perfection.
